Worked on Aki Kaurismäki films The Man Without a Past, Juha, Drifting Clouds, Hamlet Goes Business, and Mika Kaurismäki films Amazon and The Worthless, as well as on Veikko Aaltonen film The Prodigal Son. Kaurismäki's The Man Without a Past was nominated for an Oscar and the film won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival and the Golden Frog award at the Camerimage Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography in Poland.
